RAIHN Training AT NEW HOPE FREE METHODIST CHURCH
Tue. February 5th @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Pearce has a team of volunteers who support the St. Luke/St. Cyrene (Two Saints) congregation in hosting Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (RAIHN) families. RAIHN will serve 40 families in the shelter program this year. They also provide case management and after-shelter support to families for one year after they “graduate” into housing, and at this time that includes over 30 families. If you’re interested in seeing what this ministry is all about and what it means to volunteer, contact Bev Faro.
The next RAIHN volunteer training will be Tuesday, February 5, at 6:30pm at New Hope Free Methodist Church in Rochester. All volunteers must attend training to participate in RAIHN. Check our Facebook page on Monday to hear from Bev Faro, our Pearce RAIHN coordinator. On Facebook, search “PearceChurch.” Did you know we have a Social Justice Facebook group? Go to our FB page, click “groups” on the left hand side, and click on the Social Justice group to join.
