Wally Fleming ~ Lead Pastor
What are your favorite aspects of the job? “I feel privileged to serve as a pastor and find many aspects of my vocation to be a delight. Of course, as a pastor, I have the opportunity to meet many people, hear their stories, and watch the ways in which God’s grace touches their lives. I am fortunate to share with them some of life’s significant moments, be it a wedding day, the birth of a child, or the death of a dearly loved family member. And, of course, I have the honor of opening the Word of God and exploring its incredible message. Every week is different, every new day filled with reminders of our Father’s love!
What is your pet peeve? I probably have several. I don’t like opening a new magazine and having those annoying subscription cards fall out. Aggressive drivers who sit on my car’s bumper prompt me to slow down even more. And, of course, I distain commercials that end with “Huge, Rochester, huge!”
What is your favorite song to blast from your desk? Ah, I do enjoy blasting music, especially when I’m in my car. A few of my favorite songs at high volume are: Blues Travelers’ Run-Around, Moody Blues’ Your Wildest Dreams, and Augustana’s Boston.
What is your favorite comfort food? Life is good when I’m sipping a Starbuck’s Caramel Macchiato (skinny, decafe, and iced in warm weather!), enjoying hot wings at Buffalo Wild Wings, or picking up a Joey Bag of Donutes Burrito at Moe’s.

Harold Scott ~ Community Care Pastor
What are your favorite aspects of the job? My greatest satisfaction in ministry comes from walking alongside people on their personal journeys. Sometimes this is during a time of joy like a baby baptism or a wedding. Other times, it involves sharing the compassion of Jesus with a person in grief or someone who is walking through a difficult valley experience.
What is your pet peeve? I despise emails, emails, and more emails that demand my attention and interrupt my schedule.
What is your favorite song to blast from your desk? The hymn, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is a favorite song that I’d like to blast from my desk every morning! This great hymn was published in 1923 by Thomas Chisholm and made popular by George Beverly Shea at Billy Graham Crusades in 1945.
What is your favorite comfort food? Raspberry pie with vanilla ice cream!

What is your pet peeve? To have the seam of my socks fall underneath my toes; that’s why I buy socks where the seams are across the top of the toes.

Tim Lambert ~ Director of Music and Celebratory Arts
What are your favorite aspects of the job? I am a music nerd. Therefore, my favorite aspects of working at Pearce usually have to do with arranging music for Sunday services and special holiday services. I thank the Lord that He's given us all the ability to take sounds and form them into melodies and rhythms that communicate our love for the Creator. I also enjoy people and food—put the two together and you've got a wonderful conversation while eating a garbage plate!
What is your pet peeve? Music or art labeled as "medium." If you've got something to say, SHOUT it or whisper it.
What is your favorite song to blast from your desk? "Happy Day" by Tim Hughes or anything by Sufjan Stevens
