The purpose of Adult Connection at Pearce is to provide senior adults with relational
support and encouragement. Through the bi-monthly meetings, we seek to promote the
well being of body, mind and spirit.

The regular programs involve the following components:
• A brief word of encouragement (devotional)
• Chair exercises (range of motion/stretching)
• Activities (a craft, current event, games, or an area of interest presentation)
• Informal socializing and refreshments

Adult Connection meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in
the Friendship Center at Pearce.

This ministry is led by Patty Roushey and is under the guidance of the Parish Nurse
Team.

It is our desire to provide community and care to seniors within and beyond our Pearce
congregation. Many folks, especially seniors, long for a place to belong and a place to
connect. Adult Connection offers social, spiritual, intellectual, and physical enrichment to
seniors.
